... because you already know your own opinion. The metacognitive dimension in theologizing

Although meta-cognitive skills and their potential for learning have long been in view of school education, they have so far played little role in religious education studies. This study makes a reference between theologizing with children and children's metacognitive abilities. It shows how children understand their learning and what knowledge and skills they bring with them in metacognitive terms. This study on the metacognitive dimension of learning also provides implications for religious-didactic considerations as well as teacher training.
