    Religious and school textbooks are shaped by their context. Can dominant ideologies such as anti-Semitism, racism and neoliberal self-optimization therefore be found in teaching materials as well? This article examines this question based on recent research results and outlines perspectives for a critical analysis of religious textbooks.
